Role Overview: We are looking for a strategic and forward-thinking advisor to join our Board of Advisors. As an Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s growth strategy, providing expert guidance, and sharing your invaluable industry insights. Your expertise will help us navigate the complexities of B2B e-commerce, sourcing, procurement, and buying, and drive our startup towards becoming a market leader.

Responsibilities: As an Advisor on our Board of Advisors, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly Meetings: Participate in monthly zoom or in-person meetings to discuss the company’s progress, growth strategies, challenges, and opportunities. Your input will directly influence our decision-making process.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice and strategic insights based on your extensive experience in either (a) buying office, (b) wholesale purchasing, (c) e-commerce marketing or (d) supply chain. Assist in refining and positioning our offering, identifying trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies that could impact our business.
  • Industry Knowledge: Share your deep understanding of B2B e-commerce, sourcing, procurement, and buying best practices, trends, and benchmarks. Help us stay ahead of the curve and anticipate market changes.
  • Networking: Leverage your professional network to open doors, establish partnerships, and connect us with potential clients, suppliers, and collaborators within your industry domain.
  • Mentorship: Offer mentorship to our leadership team, guiding them through complex decision-making processes, and helping them enhance their skills in areas relevant to your expertise.
  • Equity Compensation: Receive compensation in the form of equity RSU, aligning your success with the company’s long-term growth and success.

Qualifications: To take advantage of this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience and expertise in one of the following domains: (a) buying office, (b) wholesale purchasing, (c) e-commerce marketing, or (d) supply chain.
  • A track record of success in driving innovation and growth within your respective industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic insights based on data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to commit long-term to monthly meetings and actively engage in shaping the company’s strategic direction.
